The Tale of Two Presidents

They are the two presidents of United States of America, Abraham Lincolin the 16th President of the United States and Barack Obama the 44th and the current President of USA.

Why I thought to write about them??, actually they inspires me, because of their insistency to gain success and achieve their goals.

Ibraham LincolinAbraham_Lincoln 1861-1865

“Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States and one of the great American leaders. His presidency was dominated by the American Civil War.” BBC

He is a model for overcomming the life’s difficulties he faced during his life, and also how much his goal was noble TO BAN SLAVERY . let us go through his failures and setbacks till his presidency:

In 1832 he Lost job & Defeated for state legislature.

In 1833 he failed in business

In 1835 his sweatheart died

In 1836 Had nervous breakdown

In 1838 Defeated for Speaker

In 1843 Defeated for nomination for Congress

In 1848 Lost renomination

In 1849 Rejected for land officer

In 1854 Defeated for U.S. Senate

In 1856 Defeated for nomination for Vice President

In 1858 Again defeated for U.S. Senate

In 1860 Elected President

As President, he built the Republican Party into a strong national organization. Further, he rallied most of the northern Democrats to the Union cause. On January 1, 1863, he issued the Emancipation Proclamation that declared forever free those slaves within the Confederacy (eleven southern states left the Union to form the Confederate States of America).

As we noticed, he was defeated for 8 times in different elections, failed in business for 2 times and his sweetheart died, but he didnt give up till he was elected President of USA and as a president he succeeded to ban slavery (which was the reason for the civil war between the union and the southern states) and also won the war.

Barack Obama  the current PresidentOBAMA

In third grade, Barack Obama wrote an essay titled, “I Want to Become President”—and he is, to this day, determined to show the world that, yes, he can.

Born in the U.S.A., the son of an African father and an American mother, a boy who spent his childhood in Indonesia and Hawaii, Barack Obama is truly a citizen of the world. His campaign for the presidency is powered by a fierce optimism, an exuberant sense of purpose and determination, and, above all, a belief that change can happen.

Barack Obama is a man who uses his words to inspire us. We can have a better future. We can be whatever we want to be. Yes. We. Can.

Away from politics, he inspires me that he believed in his dream, planned for it and he achieved it.

We have in our life more stories like those, and for who dream to be successful person he must read there biographies and learn from it how did they believed on themselves, planned for their dream, work hardly insistently without giving up till he achieve what he dreamt for.

Good Luck 🙂
